My Background
Before starting Blue Leaf, I ran Silver Leaf Computer Services, where I supported hundreds of clients across industries like healthcare, legal, and professional services. I handled everything from ransomware recoveries to Wi-Fi installs – with many real cases documented in my blog – sharing practical lessons from real-world cybersecurity incidents.
After seven years of running my own MSP (Managed Services Provider), I spent the next four years working in corporate IT and cybersecurity consulting as a Business Technology Advisor for two major managed service providers in the Los Angeles area.
During that time, I:
- Helped businesses align technology investments with strategic goals
- Led cybersecurity assessments and onboarding audits for new clients
- Guided organizations through cyber insurance readiness and compliance
- Collaborated with engineers to implement security controls, MFA, and network upgrades
- Translated complex technical language into clear, actionable business advice
That experience gave me a front-row view of how most small businesses operate – and how even well-intentioned IT providers often miss the mark on strategy, communication, and trust.
Why I Started Blue Leaf Security
I launched Blue Leaf to close that gap – helping small and midsize organizations deal with cybersecurity risks without unnecessary complexity or enterprise-grade cost. Too many small businesses are told, “You need this tool,” when what they really need is an experienced advisor who listens, explains, and guides them through every step.
My goal is simple: to deliver real-world managed cybersecurity and advice that business owners actually understand and can act on.
